Face Lift Information
As you age, your skin becomes slack and your muscles become less taut. This makes your skin sag and you look older than you actually are. People ask you if you are tired or sick or angry when you are actually in a pleasant mood. While it cannot restore skin elasticity, a facelift can make you look and feel years younger. Facelifts (rhytidectomy being the clinical term) are designed to pull the excess skin tight again and tighten the muscles underneath. Different doctors recommend different modes of anesthetizing facelift patients for surgery, but you should discuss what you are comfortable with in your consultation. Patients on general anesthesia will sleep through the entire procedure but are more likely to be hospitalized for a day. The other option is to have local anesthesia and take a sedative. Patients who chose this option will be awake but relaxed and drowsy during the operation and due to the local anesthesia will feel no pain. Then the incision is made behind the hairline to hide the scar and then around the front of the ear. Sometimes a second incision is made in the chin. The surgeon separates the skin from the underlying tissues and removes excess fat that affects the way that the skin hangs over the face. Then the facial muscles are tightened. Finally the skin is pulled up to the incision line and the excess is trimmed away and the incision is sewn back. Pain associated with recovery from a face lift is usually minimal and most patients are glad that they had the surgery. Facelifts are often performed in conjunction with other types of cosmetic surgery including brow lift and eyelid surgery. Want more Information about Face Lift Cosmetic Surgery? Reference Information to Ease Your Chinese Character Study
Chinese characters seem the most difficult part for foreign friends to learn the Chinese language. In my opinion, the main reason for that may be Chinese characters look very different from their quarter parts in the Roman languages: each character represents not only the pronunciation, but a certain meaning. Many a complaint comes from that Chinese characters are so unlike each other that you have to learn them one by one, and there are so many to memory, and that when encountering a new character, the previous knowledge of other ones helps little, you can neither pronounce it directly nor guess what it means. Actually, there really are some connections between Chinese characters, all composed in a defined way. You are unable to discover t...

Both formal scientific studies and anecdotal evidence suggest that tea really can work wonders for the body. Heres how:
An Introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine
When you hear about Traditional Chinese Medicine, what is the first thing that pops into your mind? Odd stuff in jars in dark smoky rooms where equally odd old men mutter strange incantations in Chinese as they burn incense in a pot? Actually, there may actually literally be such places and maybe they do practice some form of Traditional Chinese Medicine too ? but in these modern times, Traditional Chinese Medicine can also mean medicine that is practiced by even Western followers of the traditional ways of treating patients as the Chinese have learned all these centuries. And for such Western practitioners, Traditional Chinese Medicine may not mean burning incense as well but rather keeping rather immaculate and clinical treatment rooms wh...

Russian Information Centre: The Release Date of the Exiled Oligarchs Report has been Moved to March 15
Russian Information Centre Monitoring -- The release date of the report on activities of exiled Russian oligarchs in the West to grab power in Moscow is moved to March 15. The report by Russian Information Centre, an independent media monitoring service, originally due for publication in late February, 2007, demonstrates that despite the seeming lack of funds and influence, the notorious oligarchs of the 90s are regrouping, consolidating their resources and scheming a triumphant return after 2008 presidential elections in Russia.
