BAM Radio Network Brings Earlychildhood NEWS Radio Online

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) February 13, 2008 -- Today, the BAM Radio Network (BRN), a joint project of Moving & Learning and Jackstreet Media, announced that it has teamed with Excelligence Learning Corporation (NASDAQSC: LRNS) to launch Earlychildhood NEWS (ECN) Radio. The new channel is featured on EarlychildhoodNews.com, an online magazine that helps 70,000 parents and teachers stay in touch with the latest topics in early childhood education. ECN will nanocast BRN's premier program, Body, Mind and Child (www.bodymindandchild.com), hosted by Rae Pica, a 30-year veteran in the field of early childhood education. The program offers insightful discussions with the nation's leading experts on issues about which parents and teachers care most. ECN Radio can be heard at www.earlychildhoodnews.com and is available for download to the magazine's subscribers via podcast.

"There is so much going on in the field of early childhood development that parents and teachers need to stay on top of" said Rae Pica. "For 17 years Earlychildhood NEWS has been a trusted resource for parents and teachers, and we are delighted to join with them to bring the most up to-date insights to their subscribers," said Pica.

Megan Shaw, Editor of Earlychildhood NEWS, states, "Earlychildhood NEWS is very pleased to offer parents and early childhood professionals this new and exciting resource through its partnership with the BAM Radio Network. Earlychildhood NEWS is dedicated to providing educators and parents with information that supports young children's growth and development, which is why we're so excited to offer these informative podcasts featuring experts in the field of early childhood education."

About Excelligence Learning Corporation

Excelligence Learning Corporation (NASDAQSC: LRNS) is a leading developer, manufacturer, and retailer of educational products to child care programs, preschools, schools, and consumers. Earlychildhood NEWS is the company's online magazine and was recognized by the National Association of Child Care Professionals with its "Corporate Champions in Child Care" Award. The electronic publication features writing by some of early childhood education's leading names and for 17 years has sponsored the Directors' Choice Awards program recognizing excellence in the design and manufacture of products for young children. ECN also provides parents and teachers with online content including expert advice, curriculum-based activities, an article archive, and forums for sharing ideas.

About BAM Radio Network

The BAM Radio Network was launched to address the severe imbalance in parenting practices caused by the "commercialization of parenting" and the emphasis on intellectual development that excludes the critical role of the mind/body connection in early childhood. Created by leading early childhood experts, the programming challenges the popular genre of parenting notions that has given rise to commercial products like Baby Einstein, Brainy Baby and lapware, all of which claim to accelerate a child's mental development in the face of science that suggests otherwise. The network is a joint venture between New Hampshire-based Moving & Learning and Los Angeles-based Jackstreet Media Ventures LLC. The program is distributed through the Affiliate Nanocasting Network.
