Recent news coverage of celebrities and other moms in their fifties and sixties, while making the news because of the implausible nature of the occurrence, is often leading the audience to believe that this is an increasingly safer and more common experience, and that an older woman may use her own eggs to become pregnant. However, the news coverage of these pregnancies mentions nothing of the possibility of third party reproduction (the use of a donor's eggs or sperm). During the interview, Dr. Morris speaks out against this deceptive method of leading older women to believe they can actually parent their own children.
